The McLaren MP4/2 was one of the most successful racing cars, winning the most victories in Formula One history. In 1985, the MP4/2B debuted, equipped with a TAG Porsche engine that had been upgraded with two turbochargers to produce 850 horsepower. It also featured an aerodynamic design that complied with the new regulations and was less conspicuous than that of its predecessors. The technical and design success of the project was confirmed by the victory in the World Constructors' and Drivers' Championships, thanks in equal measure to the extraordinary talent of driver Alain Prost. In 1986, this exceptional car was further improved with the arrival of the MP4/2C version and Alain Prost once again confirmed his status as World Champion. In this new season, he was joined by another great Formula One talent, Finn Keke Rosberg. The McLaren MP4/2 holds a special place in the hearts of Formula One enthusiasts and fans, not least because it has won three Drivers' Championship titles and two Constructors' Championship titles.
