Weathering: Rust - DS03

Hataka Violet Line acrylic paints are designed for brush painting and advanced detail work. This dedicated weathering set is intended for realistic rust and surface wear effects on models and miniatures.

The paints are based on a 100% acrylic emulsion with a high pigment concentration of up to 50%. They contain no fillers or extenders, are permanent and lightfast, and provide excellent adhesion on plastic, metal, resin and other surfaces.

For the best rust effect, it is recommended to apply the paints over a black or metallic base coat and layer them from the darkest shade to the lightest, creating natural depth and corrosion texture.

To extend working time when brush painting, adding a small amount of drying retarder is recommended, allowing smoother blending and better control of the effect.
