Basic Skin Tones - DS04

Hataka Violet Line acrylic paints are designed for brush painting miniatures and fine detail work. This set is specifically created for realistic skin tones, including base colours, shading and highlights.

The paints are based on a 100% acrylic emulsion with a high pigment concentration of up to 50%. They contain no fillers or extenders, are permanent and lightfast, and provide excellent adhesion on plastic, metal, resin and other modelling surfaces.

Thanks to their excellent coverage and mixing capability, smooth transitions between shadows and highlights can be easily achieved. By mixing lighter or darker shades, you can create natural-looking skin tone variations.

To extend working time when brush painting, it is recommended to add a small amount of retarder (drying retarder), allowing smoother blending and more controlled shading.
