ALKYD Binders WET FX - PE01.GL

Alkyd fixers are new in the world of modelling. Unlike ENML 2.0, this fixer remains active even after the solvent has evaporated. It appears dry but can be further modified. This fixer allows for slow and trouble-free work - you have up to 9 hours to modify. 

Glossy version for wet effects.

Mix with any pigment, apply in a thicker layer throughout. Dry with a hairdryer (approx. 1-2 minutes) or allow to evaporate naturally (approx. 30-45 minutes). Then use a stiff brush or brush to exfoliate from areas where there should be little or no mudding. This will create a highly realistic appearance of the mudding.

The product comes in two variants:

MATT for matt (dry) surfaces - best for general weathering. Gives a matt finish.

WETT for high gloss (wet) effects - if you need to create thick glossy mud or other high gloss wet effects, this is the product for you.

It can be revived using VMS's Universal Weathering Carrier.

Before application, we recommend varnishing the model with a semi-matte varnish, such as Varnish HD Satin from VMS.
